Ariat Coming to Casuarina Square

Ariat, the international clothing brand whose boots have been made famous on the hit cowboy television series Yellowstone, is opening its first store in the Northern Territory in the Top End’s largest shopping centre, Casuarina Square in Darwin.
Casuarina Square owners Sentinel Property Group have announced Ariat Australia has taken up two tenancies at the centre to provide premises large enough for their requirements.
Sentinel CEO Warren Ebert said the management of Casuarina Square were excited to see Ariat opening in August after securing a five-year lease at the centre.
“This is a tremendous coup for Casuarina Square and the Territory that Ariat have come to Darwin,” Mr Ebert said.
“They only have outlets in Brisbane and Melbourne so it’s a great endorsement for the drawing power of Casuarina Square. Ariat’s footwear is worn by the characters on Yellowstone and no doubt they are popular with many Territorians.”
Named after legendary American racehorse, Secretariat, the company was founded in 1993 by Beth Cross, who was inspired by the Triple Crown winner’s big heart and competitive spirit.
Ariat was the first company to integrate athletic footwear technology into boots for equestrian athletes. Its world-class product team builds innovative and award-winning performance products for all types of outdoor and work environments.
Casuarina Square Centre Manager, Polly Lamond, said Ariat’s opening at the centre would be one of the highlights of this year’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
“This has been an amazing year for Casuarina Square and it’s exciting for the centre to continue attracting first-to-market, major tenants such as Ariat,” she said.
